As an Academician he possess a teaching experience of 22 years in distinguished designation of Professor and Head of the Department of Conservative and Endodontics at Dr.D.Y.Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pune, Maharashtra. He also heads the Department of Fellowship for Endodontics in Dr.D.Y.Patil Dental College and Hospital. He has a tremendous clinical experience of 30 years, enriched with the knowledge to offer precise clinical judgement hence is an expert in offering a second opinion to various practitioners. He is an expert in managing Acute Emergency Dental Pain, Tooth Extractions, Root Canal Treatments, and Cosmetic and Laser Dental Treatments. He makes every effort to stay on top of current developments in Dentistry. He maintains the highest levels of accreditation and takes advantage of ongoing education in both general and specialized dental treatments. He has pursued continuing education diligently including Masters in Oral Laser Application at the world-renowned SOLA International Laser Academy, Vienna, Austria, and a Level II Advanced Micro Endodontic workshop. 

He is a proud Life Member Federation of Operative Dentistry of India, a Life member Indian Endodontic Society, a Life member of SOLA (Society Oral Laser Application), a Member of Indian Dental Association, and a Life member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has published more than 30 PubMed and Scopus indexed publications. He has been invited to give lectures and orations on various national platforms.
